A couple of weeks back, Toby Sumpter tweeted: “One of the weakest links in the church is the wives of elders & pastors. Many wives are stumbling blocks to their husbands by their fretting, fussing, & criticizing of their husband’s calling to lead & fight. An elder who has not discipled his wife for the fight is a liability.”
