Table Liturgy
A few months back I got to have dinner with my friends Brian and Lexy Sauve. Before we ate Brian spoke a word of blessing over his family that was really cool. He got the idea from this blog. I modified and made one myself. Below is the blessing I read over my family.
Sparks Family Liturgy
To My Sons: “May the Lord arm you with strength, make your ways perfect, make your feet like the feet of a deer, and set you up on high places ruling for the Glory of God and the good of others”
Amen
To My Wife “Who is this who looks forth as the morning? Fair as the moon, clear as the sun, awesome as an army with banners. Many daughters have done well, but you exceed them all and a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised”
Amen
To our family: “give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
